- one Sam460cr board with a metallic heatsink and fan on the CPU
- 1 backplate
- printed user manual
Sam460cr is a PowerPC modular motherboard engineered and produced by ACube Systems and it is totally made in Italy.
The core of the board is the PowerPC 460EX, a System On Chip (SoC) from Applied Micro which allowed us to build a PowerPC motherboard running at 1.10 Ghz, and very low power consumption!
The Sam460cr supports 3 expansion slots: PCI, PCIe 1x and PCIe 4x.
This board is the fastest of our products. We also wanted to add more features to it. You can have the following on your Sam460:
- 7 USB ports
- Gigabit ethernet
- 4 boot media
- and more...
Availability: Available now.
Note: this board replaces the Sam460ex board.
Available as:
- version with 1.10 Ghz CPU + AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition
- version with 1 Ghz CPU + AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition
- industrial version: prices may vary depending on volumes, please contact us.
You can order complete systems ready to plug and switch on or you can order every item and build a full system yourself. As an example we have on our store:
- 1 GB Memory module
- 2 GB Memory module
- RadeonHD cards or Silicon Image SATA card, please see the accessories page.
For complete systems please check the system page on our shop.
For the motherboard only please check our online shop.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between the Sam460cr and the Sam460ex?
The Sam460cr is cheaper than the 460ex because the following components are removed: SM502 audio/video chip and onboard SATA.
The number of expansion slots (PCI, PCIe) remains the same as for the regular Sam460.
